While the last week did not provide much to report on, it did offer a few historical reports.

Saudi Arabia and the Arab world are marking a historic moment as Saudi astronaut Rayyanah Barnawi joins Emirati astronaut Sultan Al-Neyadi aboard the International Space Station. Emirati astronaut Sultan Al-Neyadi welcomed the Saudi astronaut, signifying a significant milestone in regional space exploration and fostering collaboration between the two nations.

Canada and Saudi Arabia have agreed to fully restore diplomatic relations and appoint new ambassadors, marking a significant step towards resolving a five-year dispute. The rift between the two countries originated in 2018 when Saudi Arabia expelled the Canadian ambassador and recalled its ambassador in response to a tweet from Canada's foreign ministry expressing support for detained women's rights activists.

Saudi Arabia is making significant strides in renewable energy by establishing the world's largest green hydrogen production plant. The Neom Green Hydrogen Company, in collaboration with Acwa Power, Air Products, and Neom, has secured agreements worth $8.4 billion from 23 local, regional, and international banks and investment companies. The plant will be constructed in the NEOM region's city of Oxagon, showcasing the kingdom's commitment to clean energy solutions and sustainable development.
